Experience America is a program that works via a partnership of Everlasting Experience with educational institutions, it develops students’ communication skills and challenges them to think critically about culture and the UN Sustainable Development Goals. Students develop speaking and listening skills that enable them to engage with local community members, teachers, peers, and host families in authentic contexts. Students also explore some American values as part of a cultural exploration project. Each student chooses a part of the culture to explore. As part of their research, students conduct interviews, make observations, and attend panel discussions. Finally, they give presentations about their findings and make comparisons with their own culture.
